The Mouawad Guardian Diamond Painting by Reena Ahluwalia

Rough diamonds are just like us. We all start off rough, yet full of tremendous potential. With each life experience we shape and polish ourselves to reveal our true nature, beauty and potential.
— Reena Ahluwalia

In Reena’s painting a mighty dragon guards a colossal 105-carat, fancy vivid yellow, Mouawad rough diamond. Resembling a drop of sun, and reminding of the fiery eye of a dragon, the diamond blazes with a glorious glow.

Reena was commissioned by Co-Guardian Fred Mouawad to paint its story. Reena’s painting is a tribute to the exceptional Co-Guardianship and dazzling diamond legacy of the House of Mouawad. Over the years, Mouawad has acquired a collection of historic diamonds that is arguably one of the world's finest in private hands.
